In 2012, there was a gathering of descendants of the original Jewish homesteaders in Garske Colony near Devils Lake. We had just put new bases under the cemetery stones and the cemetery was looking really good. We had brunch at the home of Mike and Ellen Connor, visited the cemetery and later in the day went over to the Lake Region Heritage Center and wandered around Devils Lake.
